What is sound therapy?
Sound therapy (KLA) is a relatively new alternative medical form of therapy that utilises sound vibrations. It is one of the Biophysical Order Therapies that assume all living beings are oscillating systems. The vibrations and soothing sounds have a harmonizing effect on the entire organism. The person who is treated in sound therapy is understood as a whole. Due to the holistic principle of action, sound therapy can treat a variety of ailments and illnesses.
The vibrations from gongs, sound bowls, the sound bed and other instruments promote blood circulation and metabolism, relax the autonomic nervous system, deepen the breath, balance the cardiovascular and digestive systems, release numerous health-promoting hormones and strengthen the immune system. The sounds generally also promote energy and courage to face life, self-esteem and trust in yourself and the world.
How does sound therapy work?
During the sound treatment, you can enjoy the experience of our wonderful sound bed (a comfortable mattress atop a solid wood bed with 60 strings underneath) singing bowls, the gong and other instruments. Sound treatment is receptive. This means that you do not play any instruments during the treatment and can completely relax during the session. A treatment lasts approximately 45 minutes. If desired, a conversation can take place before and/or after the treatment. Please wear comfortable clothing.
Is Sound Therapy for me?
Sound therapy (KLA) is suitable for everyone. Previous musical experience is not required for sound treatment. The sound methods are intended for individuals and there is no age limit. If a small child comes for treatment, they need a parent to join them. People with special needs are also welcome and the facilities are accessible.
